Crazy Google subcategories
Today I typed “wikipedia” into Google. Look at the weird subcategories that showed up under the main wikipedia.org link:

What the?!?
So of course I clicked ‘em all. “Wikipedia:Hauptseite” and “Accueil” take you to the home pages of the German and French versions of Wikipedia, respectively. “Tirol” takes you to the German-language page describing Tirol, which is apparently “a historical region of Western Central Europe” (according to the corresponding English-language page). The last three links take you to the English-language pages for the movie Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Denzel Washington, and commodity markets.

I was relieved to learn that "Chitty Bang" really did refer to the movie. The internet being what it is, I was afraid it was yet another activity that I would come to regret knowing existed.
What’s synchronous about this is that just a few days ago somebody clued me in to the fact that Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (the original children’s story) was written by none other than Ian Fleming of James Bond fame.
BTW: The turing word "actionscript" has the trailing "t" virtually cut off; I first tried to enter "actionscrip", which I supposed was some method of bartering for RIA code…
There is a vague notion of control in Google’s Webmaster Tools under Links >> Sitelinks.
At least you can block some of Google’s dynamically created Site Links.
It would be nice if you could suggest your own links though
